Hi there,

Don't know if you've seen the LifeHackster review on YouTube of the C246D/Hybrid Cam Duo where he has criticism of the fixed lens position in regards to installation?

I've got one of these indoors (cats and stuff) and the only way that I could avoid having a massive blank spot under the camera was to install it at 90° from the desired direction (using the rotate facility) but then 35° from horizontal to gain in the foreground.

I agree with LifeHackster that a different mounting bracket would be a good idea.

Yesterday
Either an adjustment to the tilting range of the fixed camera [subject to waterproofing limitations] or a pair of wedges that can be added between the wall/eaves and the mounting plate. It is really is essential to tip the camera down especially when mounted higher up. I am mounting one under the eaves of my house, approx 20' up, the reason being I don't want visible cables but need to see the area near the front of the property. Cheers!
