Override 'light-on timer' in automation when another timer is triggered
I have several triggers to turn on my kitchen lights (in a tiny bungalow). Motion sensor in my hallway, motion sensor in the kitchen itself, and a T110 sensor on the back door (via H200 hub).
After sunset, I have each set to turn the kitchen light strip (L900) on for 2 min 30s when triggered. The behavior seems to be that each timer will turn the light off regardless of having another timer started by a subsequent sensor.
ie. I get up in the morning, hallway sensor turns on hallway (3 x L630) and kitchen lights at 25%. I make my way to the kitchen, it puts the kitchen light to 100%. I shuffle around making breakfast, but the light will turn itself off and I have to wait in the dark for the sensor interval period before it comes back on. This forces me to have the kitchen sensor interval extremely short, where it otherwise could be set to 60s. Same deal when I get home in the evening with a food shop. I'll be half way through putting things away, and the kitchen lights go off because the door sensor timer has elapsed, despite being active in front of the kitchen sensor.
Can we get an automation setting that will override previous timers set by other another automation? I don't think I can combine them into a single automation, because the hallway sensor triggers as a nightlight so only comes on at 25%, whereas the others bring the light to 100% if I actually enter the kitchen. Unless there's a way to achieve this from a single automation script?
