I have a question about H200 Hub camera connection limits.  Can you connect more than 4 cameras to the hub?

I’m planning to purchase the H200 Hub.

According to your website, it supports up to four cameras or doorbells. However, I remember reading about a user who connected nine cameras to their H200 Hub on a forum that I no longer remember from where.  I also saw an Amazon review from someone claiming to have six cameras connected to the H200 hub.

This has left me a bit confused. Is there an actual limit to how many cameras can be connected to the H200? Or is 4 just the recommended number for optimal performance?

Does performance drop after connecting more than four devices?  Or can I even connect more than 4?

I currently own one C120 camera and plan to buy six more, for a total of seven cameras. I only intend to use them for event recording, not continuous 24/7 recording.

Thank you in advance.

  @Airia

Tapo H200 only supports up to four Tapo cameras or doorbells. Consider getting a Tapo H500 if you have more than four cameras.

If you have a big home and the camera will be installed in different areas, you may want to consider purchasing multiple H200 units to connect the cameras separately, as the signal range of a single hub is limited.  How many devices can connect to a Tapo Hub at the same time?

  @Wayne-TP

Could you explain why I've seen other people writing about connecting more than 4 cameras to the H200 hub?

Thank you so much.

My Tapo cameras are not battery-powered; they're all wired.

  @Wayne-TP I did that prior to posting.  It says supports up to four.  I'm asking because there are others that reported that can connect more than that.  If you don't have sufficient info on this matter I'll find another way.  Thanks anyways.
