KD110 doorbell can’t pair with a chime
After the power outage, the doorbell lost the connection to the chime.
I tried to pair with it, but it doesn't work.
The chime location is very close to the doorbell.
It did work without an issue for a while.

Hi,
Please confirm the following information about the reported phenomenon.
1. Are you control the KD110 in the Kasa app?
2. What's the system LED status on the Chime? When you press the Sync button on the Chime for 3 seconds, does the system LED blink green?
3. Please describe the steps you took to pair the Chime with your doorbell camera.

1. I tried both Kasa app and Tapo app.
2. LED blinks after pressing the sync button for 3 seconds.
3. I followed the steps that the app describes. It was the exact same procedure when I successfully pair the chime for the first time.
Nothing special.

Hi,
You can try the following steps and see if they help.
1. In the Tapo app > KD110's Device Settings > Doorbell > Paired Chimes page, if your chime is there, please click on it and tap Unpair to unpair it.
2. You can try rebooting your KD110 and the chime, then check if you can pair the chime with the doorbell camera.
3. If the same phenomenon persists, please try pressing the reset button on the KD110 for 10 seconds to factory reset it, then reconfigure it in the Tapo app, and then try to pair the chime and check if this works.

Hi,
The Device Settings page in the Tapo app may differ slightly depending on the doorbell camera models. You can try to find the pages related to chime on the KD110's Device Settings page, and then check if any paired chimes already exist. If so, remove or unpair them.

@Solla-topee I can't find the paired chime page. KD110 doesn’t seem to support it.
Thanks anyway.

Hi,
In this situation, you can try the other two tips in this post and check if the chime can pair with the camera.
If it failed, you can contact your retailer or technical support team to check if the chime is under warranty.
