Hey everyone.

I recently bought a Tapo P110 in order to connect and control my Christmas lights to (which don't require a lot of power).

Although the installation and app control worked fantastically at first, I've noticed the following. After around 5-7 hours of the plug being on, it shuts down on its own, but the app shows it's still on. The lights are then off and I then have to go in the app, turn the plug off (because as mentioned, the app at this point still shows it's on) wait 20-30 seconds and then turn it back on.

I checked for any mistakenly activated timers etc and there's nothing there. I'm also at the latest software update.
Any thoughts?

Did you check to make sure you are running the most update firmware? In the Tapo app on the Home screen at the top left is an icon that looks like a person. Click that then Firmware Update. Download and install any updates and see if the problem persists

If that doesn't solve anything

Click on the Smart tab at the bottom and make sure there are no Shortcuts or Automations running. Also go into the plugs options and make sure there are no Schedules or timers set

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1
