Model: KS230 KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

New install.

box 1 : Line, traveller white, traveller red

box 2 : load, neutral, traveller white, traveller red

I have to use one traveller to transfer Line or neutral to one box so I can install the main switch.  It leaves me with just one traveller left.  No matter what, I always get the blink red.

the only way I got to setup the switch, is by connecting the second traveller screws on both switches to a neutral line.  But then, I get no light on the load...

Help please... I cannot run another cable between box.

Can it work with just one traveller ?  Do I need to jump some screws or câble ?

thx

You may want to consult an electrician about modifying the wiring in your current boxes. Check this article for the wiring guide of Kasa KS230KIT V2. How to Install My Kasa Smart 3-Way Dimmer Switches (KS230 KIT V2)

I figured it out.  Line to box 2 was coming from box 1.  Just had to connect to main line and transfer the load from box 1 to box 2.  I now get Box 1 with line, neutral, 2 travellers and box 2 with load, 2 travellers.  Just like it is supposed to : )
