Display doorbell camera on Nest Hub, when doorbell rings
In the Google Home app, I want to set up an automation that is triggered by the Tapo D230S1 doorbell. I want the Nest Hub display to show the live camera feed as soon as the doorbell is pressed. To do this, I followed the instructions from the feed: Tapo D230S1 and Google Home speakers.
However, when I try to set up the automation in the Google Home app, I only get as far as selecting an action from the doorbell. There are no options to select though; as soon as I tap the '+' sign, the selection menu rolls in and does not show any options. I have tried tapping and swiping it open with no success.
(Unfortunately, I wasn't able to insert a screenshot, but I hope I have described everything correctly.)
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it does not work that way, because it's not possible to select the doorbell as a trigger in the first place. I tried to describe that in my post. However, since I was not allowed to add any screenshots, my description may not have been sufficient. I try it again here. As you may see, there are no actions to choose from.
