Model: Tapo C660 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have 3 660s installed. How can I set a new default position setting. They each keep reverting to the factory setting and I lose the view I want.

I have tried to set an image as per what I think are the instructions but there is no "set" or "save" option at any stage.

The camera’s “default position” is defined as the viewing angle from your last live viewing session. After a tracking ends, the camera will return to this default position. If you adjust the camera’s viewpoint, whether manually or via automation, its default position will update accordingly.

My c660 will regularly generate its own default position. So if i then direct it to a saved favourite position this is based on an incorrect start and my final position is off.

My camera will regularly be found facing the wall.  That's not much good as a security camera.

Are you facing an issue described here? FYI. What to do if the Tapo Pan/Tilt camera can't return to its original position properly after tracking
