Rv50 main brush keeps getting stuck when its not
Bought the RV50 pro omni 2 days ago first use of carpet the main brush got stuck. Pulled it apart to check for an issue found nothing. Put it back together pressed resume and away it went. Have started pressing resume instead of checking and off it goes until it gets stuck again about 10 minutes later. Everytime we have used it on carpet the main brush gets stuck on nothing. I have noticed its mainly when it turns corners or around the beds. Is there a solution to this? Cheers

@Wayne-TP I had a firmware update this morning but yet to give it a test due to being back at work after the holidays. Is this beta firmware a further update or has it been quickly pushed through as an official update already?

Hi
the vacuum got a firmware update just now through the app anyway?
Have tried 2 rooms so far that used to give multiple main brush errors, but seems to have resolved the issue as has completed the rooms without an issue.
Hopefully that's it now.

Did you reach out to the support team yourself? I'm not sure if you have the beta version, as I haven’t received your application details yet.

It should be the beta version, but you can double-check it with the support agent who handled your case.
I'll share updates here when the official version is released.

@Wayne-TP Yeah support have said the update was pushed to mine so will be a beta version. Although with the update it has broken multiple other features. Cleaning order is now ignored and always goes with the auto order, auto mop drying no longer works and always has to be manually started, and object avoidance is completely non existent now with it plowing through any and all objects in its path. I've notified support of these issues but have yet to hear anything back.

@Wayne-TP I'm having the exact same issues as the other users, are you able to share the Beta Firmware as well? Works great on our floorboards but when it gets to carpet, same thing, every 3-4 minutes "Main Brush is Stuck" with nothing in it!
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
Our R&D team has provided a beta firmware that addresses this issue. If you would like to try it, send me @Wayne-TP a private message with the Mac address of your RV50.
Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.
