Mesh network is disconnected when the router is rebooted
I have recently bought BE3600 to replace AX20. I have six extenders, all from TP-Link (3 RE505X, 2 RE305v3, 1 RE300) and OneMesh compatible. I reconnected each of the six extenders to BE3600 and they were nicely working as a mesh network. However, when I rebooted the router, I have lost connection to all the extenders. I rebooted the router again but it did not help. Then I rebooted one of the extenders, and all of sudden the router connected to all extenders
I called the TP-Link support (Japan), and the support lady told me that it is not guaranteed that the extenders re-connect to the router when the router is rebooted. At the same time she admitted that it is not normal that all the extenders loose connection upon the reboot of the router, and it is a strange behavior that the connection to all extenders revived by rebooting just one of the extenders. The support did not have any more information, and suggested as a workaround not to reboot the router.
I asked her if there is any potential settings to avoid the connection loss and she said she did not know. BE3600 is EasyMesh compatible and there is a toggle switch on the router to enable EasyMesh, which is ON as default. I asked her if I turn off EasyMesh would the router still connect to the extenders on OneMesh, and she again said she did not know but the recommendation was to keep it ON.
Now my questions--
1. If all extenders are only compatible with OneMesh and not with EasyMesh, can I disable EasyMesh on the router, or would it disable both EasyMesh and OneMesh?
2. Is there any information as to the RCA for the connection loss to extenders upon BE3600 reboot? Note that clients directly connected to BE3600 do not have any impact.
3. Combining 1 and 2, would it better to disable EasyMesh on BE3600 when all the extenders are only compatible with OneMesh?
4. The support told me it is not recommended to have more than 2 extenders for one mesh Archer router (any model). Is it true?
