@Wayne-TP mine is the same! It just stopped detecting a couple of weeks ago.

  @MrChuter First response, not great. Some AI chatbot telling me to do what I have already done!!!

  @SPH501 I have the exact same issue with one of the wireless solar cams (link to the forum post here).

It seems as if, when the cam goes to sleep, the PIR sensor also goes idle...

  @SPH501  yeah same. I know there's nothing wrong with the settings or where it's mounted cos 4 days ago it worked perfectly in that spot with those settings. I also know the PIR sensor works because it detects when the app is open. Frustrating, I've only had the thing 3 weeks.... 

Mine will wake when door bell is pressed but won't for any other events unless I'm currently viewing or doing the detection test.

Seems this issue is really starting to kick off, hopefully there will be a resolution soon! All, please feel free to let us know if you get a positive outcome 

  @MrChuter This is getting painful now! Had an email from a human in technical support who asked me to check the sensitivity settings (already done), check the trigger time and recording buffer (already done) and run the detection test (already done). I pointed them to this thread, but they still seem to be of the illusion that the PIR is not triggering or it is a set up issue. I have re-iterated to them that the problem is that the device is going to sleep and wont wake up on PIR trigger unless the appis open and in the foreground.

I will keep you all posted if they come up with any sensible suggestions other than "Send it back to Amazon"!!
