I am disabled and am not in a position to map all of my rooms in one go.

Is there any way I can map individual rooms and then merge them.

With my  previous hoover all I did was to send it to a room I had already mapped then leave a door open to an adjoining room and the hoover would enter that and map it .

Sadly  if this is not possible I will have to return the item back to Amazon and buy one that can do this.

I would appreciate any help.

The robot vacuum updates its map automatically during cleaning based on the actual environment scanned by its LIDAR, as long as the map is not locked. This means that when creating a new map, you can let it initially map only the accessible areas. By running several whole-home cleanings afterward, the map will gradually be refined and completed.
