The device stopped recording. I did the basics like unplug the camera then plug it back. I took the storage chip out and put it back in. I also get the error, no SD card. Not only that, but I also get, insert micro SD card for recording. A card is there. Please advise. Thank you.

Check this. What should I do if the SD card cannot be formatted/recognized?

I did all that but I get the same error. I am using the SD card that came with the camera but can I use a generic card fr a camera store.
