Improve Tapo H500 capabilities with wifi 2,4GHz
Hello,
According next TP-Link Community > Tapo Smart Hub > Local Smart Actions with S112 or S11E with H500, i have been suggested to open a Feature Request, about what we are commenting and viewing there...
H500 Hub has really big limitations in its wifi 2,4GHz communications:
* It can't act as possible backhaul as ethernet or 5GHz can do.
* It doesn't support communications with many devices as S112 or S110E that are only wifi 2,4GHz.
* 2,4GHz is only used to implement one wifi backup for the cameras.
I don't really know if it is a feature request, or really a big limitation or bug, but i understand that H500 has to improve a lot and avoid this big limitation. Because if it can't be one Hub Matter over thread, it should cover as much as possible its function of Matter over wifi.
And a part from that connectivity problem, we will have to see later the local smart actions. Something really desirable to implement in certain uses cases like we are commenting in that forum, with own Tapo devices or with other Matter devices with wifi.
I am forced to look for Local Smart Actions with Hubs of other manufacturer.
Because as now, it's a very limited Hub to manage only own cameras or some Sub-G devices.
Thanks for your support,
Jabato
