There was question never answered in 2022 which read:

Does anyone know how Tapo device schedules behave when the device and mobile running the app are in different time zones? 

I have a lamp with schedule set to turn on at sunset.  If I then travel to a different time zone (leaving the device at home), where does it take sunset time from? The location when it was set up originally, or does it change with the time zone where the mobile running the app is? 

Doesn't seem to be anything about this in the app faqs, despite it seeking a pretty obvious question. TIA for any help! 

Is anyone of the Tapo Team listing?  This is such a valid question and there must be an answer!?

Please let us users know, even if the answer is inconvenient.  In KASA there is/was a time-zone choice, can't find it in the Tapo app.
