Hola, tengo una cámara TP-Link Tapo C520WS V2 y estoy presentando un problema con el audio.

 

Antes de actualizar el firmware, la cámara funcionaba correctamente. Sin embargo, después de la actualización (actualmente versión 1.2.4), comenzó a aparecer un ruido constante tipo chillido

 

El ruido se presenta incluso sin utilizar la función de audio bidireccional, por lo que no parece ser un problema de acople. Además, ya realicé reinicio del equipo, restauración a valores de fábrica y reconfiguración completa desde la app Tapo pero el problema continúa.

To better understand the situation, could you please help confirm a few points for us?

  • Does this high‑pitched noise appear immediately after the firmware update, and was it not present at all before the update?
  • Have you noticed any other abnormal behavior since updating the firmware, aside from the audio noise?

 

As an initial check, we kindly suggest trying the following adjustment:

1. Ensure the camera is not placed in enclosed spaces or near surfaces that may reflect sound.

2. Make sure your mobile device is positioned away from the camera, preferably in a different room. When the phone is too close to the camera during a voice call, it can lead to audio feedback, resulting in whistling and noise.

 3. Lower the microphone volume of the camera to below 50%. A higher volume setting can magnify the noise decibel. You can adjust the microphone volume on the live view page of the camera.

Additionally, please confirm whether the noise is present:

  • When viewing the live view, and
  • When playing back recorded videos
