Under normal circumstances, after powering on, the camera should enter pairing mode, indicated by the LED flashing red and green alternately.
At this stage, we kindly recommend the following:
1. Please disconnect the camera from power, wait about 30 seconds, then reconnect it.
2. After powering it back on, allow the camera up to 3 minutes to fully initialize. During this time, please observe whether the LED status changes to the red and green alternating pattern.
If the LED still does not change after waiting, we suggest attempting a factory reset again, following the official reset guidance carefully to ensure the button is pressed and held correctly while the camera is powered on: How to Factory Reset Your Tapo Camera: Two Methods
