T300 and H200 effective range test does not work
I have four T300s connected to an H200. I am pretty sure that when I bought them some 4-5 months ago I must have successfully performed the effective range test on them.
The problem is that when I try to do the effective range test by pressing the button on the T300 now, and I tried 3 of the 4 T300s I have, nothing happens on my H200. No voice prompt, no led action of any kind.
For testing purposes I had the T300s 1 meter (or less) away from the H200. On one of T300 I even pulled the batteries out and checked them out. Then I put some water on the sensor and the alarm and the app notification were triggered. The H200 does report 4 T300s connected with a WiFi signal strength high, so that looks good. Playing the ringtone on the H200 works fine.
The procedure seems as simple as it can be, just press the button once... What can I be missing here? Thank you.

Hi, I'm having a similar issue. I've just bought a new H200 and T300, and the T300 apparently doesn't send any alert to the H200. The app shows them to be connected and I can test the ringtone of the H200 from the app. But effective range test doesn't work, and when I put water on the sensor, I got the sensor alarm ringing, got the app notification, but the hub remains silent. Is there a resolution to this issue?
A beta firmware is available for resolving the issue. If you would like to try it, send me the Mac address of your Tapo H200 via a private message.

Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.

I am having the same issue with the effective range test as the previous two customers. Has there been a resolution to this issue?
