Firmware Version:

I’m trying to lock down my network and want to block my Tapo cameras from accessing anything on the WAN except for official TP-Link services.

Does anyone have the official list of domains/wildcards I need to whitelist to keep the Tapo app, cloud storage, and firmware updates working? I'm currently using *.tplinkcloud.com and *.tplinknbu.com, but want to make sure I’m not missing any relay or stun servers that might break remote viewing.

Actually i was trying to say this step is unnecessary as Tapo camera is highly secured. We don't have a list, as there are many different servers used to ensure the proper operation of the product.

If you have concerns, check here to learn about How secure are Tapo devices?

Tapo cameras only accesses the domains it needs to function properly, such as those for cloud connectivity, NTP time synchronization, and similar essential services. Restricting the camera to specific domains will affect its normal operation, potentially causing issues including incorrect time, loss of remote access, and various functional abnormalities.

Hi Wayne, that is what I want to avoid.

Do you have the list? I am creating an isolated VLAN/subnet for IoT devices and whitelisting their services addresses.

I can do it with wireshark/pihole but if there is an official list then it's easier.
