Please clarify what kind of disconnection issue your doorbell is experiencing? What's its led status when it goes offline?

For Tapo D235, its LED indicator shows different connection states as follows, for example:

  • Slow blinking red: Connecting to Wi-Fi (Device is disconnected from the WiFi, app control is not possible even in the local network)
  • Solid amber: Connected to Wi-Fi (Remote control failure)
  • Solid white: Connected to the cloud.

The troubleshooting steps vary for different kinds of disconnection issues. Once you've verified the issue on your device, you can find the corresponding troubleshooting suggestions here: What to do if I can't control my Tapo cameras on the Tapo app?
