Hello,

I got the D235 and H200 right now. It gives me a lot of trouble, like clips not stored or no connection between the D235 and H200. I applied of the beta firmware, but still problems.

So im thinking about returning the H200 and buying the H500, really dont want to, but i want the storage place inside the house and not directly inside the doorbell. So are there any people that have the D235 and H500 that work normal without any issues?

And what about the people that have de D235 and H200, you got these issues also?

Both models support video storage for Wi-Fi cameras, so their core functionality in this regard is essentially the same. The main differences lie in the number of devices they can support, as well as the availability of certain advanced features on H500.

If you experience any issues during use, we recommend focusing on troubleshooting the specific behavior. In most cases, issues can be resolved through troubleshooting steps or with assistance from the technical support team.

For the issue you reported - that the doorbell doesn't record videos to the hub, this article should help: What should I do if I encounter issues while playing back videos from an SD card?  The suggestions here were originally written for videos recorded directly to the camera’s SD card, but the same troubleshooting points also apply to your situation. Basically, the key points to check include:

  • If the device is configured to record detection events only, make sure the detection feature is enabled and that motion events have actually been triggered.
  • Confirm that local recording is enabled.
  • Verify that the recording schedule is set correctly.
  • Check whether the SD card on the hub is functioning properly and recognized normally.

Does the doorbell record normally if you put an sd card in it?

I will check this link out, thanks.

I only had an sd card in the doorbell during setup. After that i switched to the H200.

@WindOfRage You using Wifi or wired for the hub? I have a D225 and use it with the H200 and I find that the H200 works better when using a wired connection.

It's wired.

I read somewhere that somebody turned of the wifi backup. So it wil stop switching by itself to the best connection home wifi and tp link ghz. It keeps recording now. Now i have the problem that detections are not always visible. So in the 24/7 footage i can see it. But the independent detection list is empty. So i orderd a H500, will see if that goes any better. Gues tp link cant optimize the firmware for the h200. If it wont work i just send everything back and get an eufy.
