Why doesnt the camera have scheduled auto reboot option like other Tapo camera models have??? It helps with preventing glitches and lag, would be great if it could be added on the next update...

Thanks

As a battery-powered camera, its regular sleep/wake cycle is essentially a reboot. Since the camera wakes up multiple times a day, that means it has been rebooted multiple times.

Therefore, if you’re still seeing a specific issue, a standard restart probably won’t fix it. It would be better to start a new discussion focused on the core problem itself.

Unless you’ve actually confirmed that the issue only goes away when you manually restart the camera via the app? *Note: please ensure your camera's PIR sensor still works properly - whether the range test works. How to test the detection range of Tapo battery camera
