Hi, I have a 6 mo old Tapo camera that I would like to connect to  Starlink mini wifi on my boat.  I already have two of these same cameras connected from a previous install a year prior which work great.  However, the new camera will not connect. I can connect to the camera directly with  Tapo wifi, but the camera will not connect to the Starlink wifi.  I've tried the following: camera reset, manual DNS on starlink per Tapo, turn off vpn, use split 2.4 ghz starlink option, etc.  Nothing I do has made any difference and when i try to connect, it immediately returns an error message as per attached. 

 

any advice on this would be appreciated?

Hello,

Please try the following steps:

  1. Re‑enter the correct Wi‑Fi password.

  2. Ensure both the phone and camera are connected to the same Wi‑Fi during pairing.

  3. Test by connecting the camera to a guest network or mobile hotspot.

  4. Move the camera closer to the router, reset the camera, reboot the router, and try again.

  5. Change the router's 2.4GHz wifi channel to 1, 6, or 11 if possible.
