Previous thread locked with no response - Request timer override/priority for motion sensors
I'll condense this in the hope that TP Link don't ignore this one.
I have several sensors that control a single light strip in my kitchen, turning it on for 2 mins. Hallway, kitchen, and a back door open sensor. Irritatingly, when one timer has lapsed (ie. hallway timer triggered as I approach the kitchen), it will turn the light off, regardless of kitchen sensor activity. Same deal with the door sensor. It'll turn my lights off after 2 mins regardless of how much I am dancing in front of the kitchen motion sensor.
If a single sensor is repeatedly triggered - ie. the kitchen sensor while I'm in there cooking, the timer seems to reset as the lights never go off. However if the hallway one is triggered a single time (ie. nipping to the loo), the lights will turn off after 2 mins even though I'm back in front of the kitchen sensor.
I need to be able to set some sort of priority or heirarchy for the sensors, so I'm not left in the dark for 4s waiting for the next kitchen motion detection. Alternatively, let me set the detection interval to 0.5s or less. I can have the sensor hardwired using something like this USB to dummy CR2032 adapter, so I'm not worried about battery life.
