Hi, 

 

when I bought about one month back this Hub, I was able to configure remote control for several IR devices and use it also in TP-Link shortcuts automations. Few days back this stop working and each remote now says "This remote control can only be controlled locally."

 

I tried to ring the hub out of local network, which works well, so the hub as such is reachable outside local network without problem. Only the IR remotes are impacted. I tried to reboot the device, also no new update is available.

 

Any idea what could be the reason?

Same issue here:

 

TPLink Tapo H110 Hub.

Hardware Version 1.0

Firmware version: 1.4.4. Build 251031 Rel. 111523

 

AC is using the TCL Air Conditionner Profile.

Automations also don't work anymore, since the device is "local only" 

 

I cannot control the AC anymore over a 4G LTE or 5G connection, although the siren on the hub works fine, so it's not a networking issue.

me too in italy, till yesterday evening all ok, this morning my air conditioners controlled by 3 IR hubs are offline
I've already tried everything but nothing changes.

Thanks for the reports. Some adjustments have been made on the cloud end and that should address this issue. Please check your device’s current status and let us know. If it doesn’t automatically recover, please try restarting both your router and the Tapo hub first.

Hi  @Wayne-TP ,

 

I can confirm the message disappear and I'm again able to use the shortcuts and control IR devices outside local network.
