Hello,
To better assist you and ensure we direct you to the most efficient solution, could you please clarify the exact problem you’re encountering with the “pan motor”?
Is the pan/tilt rotation completely unresponsive—meaning the camera does not move at all when you try to control it via the Tapo app? This detail will help us determine the nature of the fault.
If the issue is confirmed to be a hardware malfunction (e.g., the motor does not respond at all), the next step is to contact the local TP-Link support team in your region for further assistance. They are best equipped to handle warranty claims, provide repair options, or guide you on obtaining a replacement unit or part, based on your device’s purchase date and local policies.
Best Regards,

@Hilbert-TP the motor is dead as I said before. Dead - : deprived of life : no longer alive.
The device does not have warranty. I bought it three years ago, installed it and used it sporadically. Not even a year of normal use and the motor is dead. Excellent.
Next step is to find where I can buy a replacement motor. I do not need local TP-Link support team to do it. Croatia does not have that kind of service anyways.
So the question remains, will you tell me where to get a motor or do I do it myself?
I will probably replace it with tilt motor since I don't use tilt function at all.
