I've turned on my Tapo C200 for the first time and have been discouraged: there was no web-interface on the camera's IP. «Fuck, — I thought, — have to read the manual». But all of have I found in it was QR-code with a link to the mobile app. Ok, the app is the only way to configure a cam, but why should I use a smartphone every time I want to set up a new cam? Why may not I have a script for the initial camera configuration?

Yep, I can take your app, spent a few hours, and find out how to send necessary params and commands. But why? Why can't you just publish proto specs?!

@woland.tel

Good day,

Sorry for the delay.

As for the configuration, Tapo needs to be set up via mobile App.

After the setup, you could live view on the webinterface over RTSP, such as

Thank you very much for your understanding and support.
