[Solution] Timestamp Issue on the latest Tapo APP- Resolved on Tapo 2.3.34
[Solved]This has been solved on tapo APP 2.3.34 and later version, please update your the APP to the latest version in Google Play or APP store.
This Article Applies to:
Tapo C100/Tapo C200 (Firmware Version 1.0.17 and the previous versions)
Issue Description/Phenomenon:
On the latest Tapo app, customers may not be able to enable the Time Stamp for the Tapo C100 or Tapo C200.
On the Android devices, there will be a 'Failed. Please try again later' error message prompted as follows:
On iOS devices, the 'On-Screen Display settings' option will quit immediately.
Available Solutions:
1. As for the Tapo C200, customers can upgrade to the latest firmware, which is now v1.1.8, and you can enable the Time Stamp without issue.
Note: If you don't want to upgrade the camera firmware, you can install the beta Tapo app we provided below.
2. As for the Tapo C100, we provided a beta Tapo app, which allows you to enable the Time Stamp successfully. And this will be fixed in the next official Tapo app release.
