Just bought and installed a Tapo L530 color change bulb. I can control the bulb with the app, but when I select "turn off" it just changes the color to yellow and doesn't turn off.The app says it is off and if I select turn on, it returns to the color it was last time it was on, but won't turn fully off.

 

Any ideas what had gone wrong?

Thank you for your valuable feedback, please confirm your Tapo app and the firmware of bulb are both up-to-date.

Factory reset bulb and see if bulb performs the same? https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2753/

Can I have a short video of the phenomenon '  I select "turn off" it just changes the color to yellow and doesn't turn off' ?

If  set a different color like Blue/ Red and see if bulb could be changed to the correct color or also looks Yellow? 

Please share the MAC address of bulb to me via private message, thank you.
