"Detection Recording" records when the motion event is triggered

• Confirm Motion Detection is 'ON', and you have set up proper Activity zone & Sensitivity settings as instruction here

How to use motion detection function of my Tapo camera in Tapo app

• Try a different SD card , a high enduration SD card is recommended

Which microSD cards are supported on Tapo and Kasa Cameras?

• Check SD card left capacity.   If SD card capacity is nearly full, and Loop recording is enabled -> 

Verify the SD card with H2testw software  ( check if ii an expanded capacity SD card) as the instruction below and share a photo with the test results  (back up important files before run the test)

- Later backup SD card content on a computer and format SD on the Tapo APP and see if SD card recording work again.

If still the same , please enable Alarm and see if Alarm goes off when there is a motion detected? Camera should record

1) the photo showing the concern 

2) Do you use Motion Detection recording or Continuous recording, can I have photo of motion detection settings   including Recording Schedule, Activity Zone & Sensitivity 

3) Tapo APP version & model of phone and its Andriod or IOS version

4) Mac address of camera( please share MAC by  private message)
