I have Homebridge TPLink Smarthome plugin since some of the older Kasa devices do not support homekit. However, recently I bought some Kasa Smart plugs (KP125) which are homekit compatible. So for these new KP125 plugs, I see two of the same plug in Apple Home App: One from HomeKit and one from the Homebridge plugin.

How do I remove the ones associated with Homebridge to appear in Apple Home App?

  @NorahDaniels

I believe Apple Home Kit and Home Bridge are two different apps, one is built by Apple company, another is built by developers and geeks.

It depends on your need to use it either app, I probably go with Apple Homekit, however if you need cetrallly control all smart devices, Home bridge covers more devices.
