Yet another bitrate / image quality request

I have two cameras with decent video recordings stored to SD-card when viewed from a phone.
However, the bitrate is low and image quality is quite noisy when viewed from a computer screen.
Thus we need bigger bitrate (double, triple?) when storing videos to SD card.
