Model: Tapo P110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 221114 Rel.203339

The following is the same for all 4 of my P110 Plugs!

  • 1 - Launch Tapo App
  • 2 - Select Device (P110)
  • 3 - Scroll up from the bottom and select 'Show More'
  • 4 - Should see Energy Monitoring > Energy Usage
  • 5 - Click the pencil to 'Edit'
  • 6 - Click Bill Type
  • 7 - Select Periodic Billing
  • 8 - Hit SAVE
  • 9 - Edit the Time-of-use/Off-Peak/Mid-Peak/Peak values as suits your billing
  • 10 - SAVE is greyed out and cannot be used, so settings are not retained
  • 11 - Sync bill settings to all plugs - Also fails to save/work.

Please fix this bug.

UPDATE:

The SAVE Button becomes active when populating times, dates, and $/£ values for Off-Peak, Mid-Peak, AND Peak; But only when SUMMER AND WINTER's details are populated. (Fill in everything!)

However - The 'Sync to other plugs' option  doesn't seem to work - The instructions for this need to be made clear.

  Hello @Kev600

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing a detailed description.

Besides the settings you've checked below,  please slide between Winder/ Summer and if you've filled up there.

  •  - Click Bill Type
  •  - Select Periodic Billing
  •  - Edit the Time-of-use/Off-Peak/Mid-Peak/Peak
  • - Check Winter/ Summer settings too

Hope this can help!

I'm having the same issue... Though there is no difference for me for Winter/Summer... also we have no "mid-peak", I tried setting Winter to January 1 to March 31, Summer to April 1 to December 31... and just set the times to the same. Also put in "0" for mid-peak. Cant save.

Hi   @Bobby_Digital

thank you for sharing the case details!

It looks that the app does not accept '0' as the value in the Mid-peak hour section, please try to put in a random number  like 1 in the Mid-peak hour and see if you can save it.

This will not be counted in the bill if you only have Peak/non Peak hours in the table.

Hello, Thanks for the quick answer. This was indeed the problem. I just put in 1 in mid-peak and the save button was activated.
