Is my bulb obsolete?
I have just move into a new home with a TP-Link bulb. I am struggling to work out what model it is but tied to connect it with the Tapo app anyway, I was unsuccessful.
Does anyone know how to work out the model number ?
WiFi connection reads: TP-LINK_SmartBulb_121F
or is this a waste of time, is the bulb too old ?
thanks!

Did you check the device information printed on the bulb, where the model number is normally printed?
Is it a RGB multicolor light bulb, dimmable (white) light bulb, RGB spotlight, or white spotlight? Click here to get all the models of TP-Link Tapo light bulbs.
If this is an older unit, it's most likely one of our best-selling models Tapo L510 (dimmable) or Tapo L530 (Multicolor)!

The LB120 is a Kasa smart light bulb. You may download the Kasa App to initiate the configuration process.

Hi @Wayne-TP
thanks for the response. Please see photo of the bulb below.
it would say it looks most like a Tapo L510
But reads : A19-LB120 WIFI BULB
It is branded TP link rather than Tapo, maybe this is the issue?
thanks !
