Unable to update firmware on P100 (HW v1.20) from 1.4.9 to a later version
Hello
I have several P100 switches, all hardware version 1.20, and all on firmware 1.4.9. They all fail to update firmware to the latest offered version, 1.5.5.
I have done a factory reset and re-added them to the iPhone app, they are on the same wifi network as the iPhone (with Mobile Data disabled), the router is a Teltonika RUTx09. When I add the device and the app offers to update firmware, the app sits at “Downloading (0%)” for a couple of seconds then shows “update now”, in a loop. the same is true if I try to update firmware on all devices (only these show up as needing an update).
Please can you advise?

The firmware may not be downloading successfully, possibly because the router is blocking certain website domains used by the device for updates.
We suggest trying to configure one device to a guest network or using a hotspot (one phone as a hotspot, another phone for the upgrade) to test if the upgrade can be successful.

thanks Wayne, but no, I have full control over the router and I allow all outbound traffic and I do not block any IPs or DNS.
Are you able to share the URL that it is trying to use so I can try in a browser?

@kebrantor Hi, I've been working with support. They have been extremely helpful, and the provided me with a beta version of the iPhone app which overcame the issue; I've successfully updated all of my units with this app.
Hopefully they will release the new version to the Apple/Google app stores soon.

@Wayne-TP hi I am experiencing the same problem with the p100 firmware update. I have tried factory rest and mobike hotspot and did not work. Any furthur advice ?
