Support A200 Solar Panel or Update D230S1 FAQ
The FAQ for the D230S1 Doorbell Camera implies that the A200 Solar Panel can be used to keep the the battery charged. This does not seem to be the case as there is no way to supply constant power to the camera.
Can you please update the FAQ to reflect that the D230S1 does not work with the A200 Solar Panel?

Update
The FAQ has been updated to clarify that the D230 does not support solar charging. Given that solar panel require outdoor use, it is not recommended to utilize it for charging the battery either. The battery is not waterproof and there is a risk of water damage.
Tapo D230 does not have a reserved charging port in its hardware design, there is no possible update that can allow D230 to connect a solar panel for continuous power supply.

I found this post researching exactly this issue after seeing the FAQ, and thought I'd add my +1 to this :)
I really wouldn't say that FAQ answer is 'clear'. At best it is confusing and really should be updated. I've ordered the doorbell today because the deal was just too good to pass up, but had I been paying full price, the ambiguity of this FAQ answer would have absolutely influenced my decision.

This is old school semantics and trickery. It is NOT clear that only the battery, while outside the unit, can be charged with the solar panel. We on earth would I dissemble my doorbell and charge it outdoors with a solar panel? That's idiotic. The FAQ absolutely implies that the doorbell can be powered by a solar panel.
Rather than defending these lies (designed to sell solar panels) in the guise of a helpful FAQ, you should make it clear that there is no power option except the battery. Which I'm my experience latest all of 3 weeks before needing to be recharged.
Now I need to return my solar panel to Amazon.
This is very disappointing from a company like TP Link
