I have a C100 camera set up and the app on my phone to monitor my elderly parent.

 

If they call out for help will I automatically be alerted or is it only for movement?

The Tapo C100 supports Motion Detection, Person Detection, and BabyCry Detection, so your parents' sound won't trigger the camera to send notifications to your phone.

Hi,
Do you want to share the device with the TP-Link account that you used to log in to the Tapo app? If so, there is no need to share your device.
You can share your TP-Link account with your family member directly, then he/she can log in to the Tapo app on his/her phone with the TP-Link account and watch the camera's feed.
