@mur77 instead of rate limit on WiFi SSID you can try Bandwidth Control then you will get full speed on the LAN and limited speed on the internet. You set Bandwidth Control under Transmition,

@Christian2705 tp-link is very slow to update firmware, but they have a beta version that works with dynamic vlan plus some other improvements, see this link...
