Archer T4U V2 adhoc network under Windows 10

Hi,
The user manual for Archer T4U V2 mention that both infrastructure and adhoc network are available in the driver. But on Windows 10, the tp-link utility does not show adhoc network. I know that adhoc network in not supported in Windows 10 but does Archer T4U supports adhoc network at hardware level? There is a workaround to access adhoc network in Windows 10 but that requires that the WiFi adapter supports adhoc network at hardware level. Any way to switch "on" this functionality on windows 10?
Thanks,
Navtej
