Model : Archer C3200

Hardware Version : v1 00000000

Firmware Version : 0.9.1 0.1 v004b.0 Build 160704 Rel.56586n

ISP : Charter

One of the machines streams video through the router to the TV at a max rate of ~800Mbps via Ethernet cable -> Router -> TV.

The router doesn't appear to handle this very well, and during these times all other machines have severe latency issues (~1 sec) despite consuming very little bandwidth otherwise.

Is there a router setting/firmware update etc. that can moderate this at all? The router is listed as being able to handle this, and the machine was billed as an enthusiast's device, but it struggles to deal with 80% throughput on a single line.

QoS clearly wasn't build for this. As a sanity check, I implemented QoS rules, but of course it did nothing.

You can setup bandwidth control and limit the maximum speed for the TV.
