using Dynamic IP

Unable to connect to hard drive on Archer c3200 via internet.
I am able to connect to the drive while on the same network. I'm not able to connect using ftp://172.**.**.*** . I was also able to map the drive to my computer. I have enabled remote access.

what is the internet ip of C3200? you can google it first. If it is a local ip, which means that there is a NAT router before C3200. You need to open port for C3200. Then you can access the hard drive via internet.

i google what is my ip. I think it is showing my Comcast modem. How to i port my modem ip?

you need to login tp-link web ui and check the internet ip there. if it is local ip, you need to open port for it on the modem. Then use the internet/wan ip of your modem to access the hard drive.
