Hi,

I was using the 4G/4G LTE router TL-MR3420 v5 running latest firmware 1.4.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 180712 Rel.61343n with  Huawei e3372 4G LTE modem with Reliance Jio 4G LTE SIM. The modem is compatible and was very easy to setup. The Huawei e3372 modem supports 1 SIM slot and 1 microSD card for storage (dual use of modem as flash drive and Mobile data access device)

I observed that

     (a) Dongle is shared between PC and Router i.e moved from PC to router

     (b) the PC creates a folder with or without data on the SD card in the device (dual use of dongle as pendrive)

     (c) then the Router deletes this folder (and its contents). However any files you copy in the root folder are left untouched,

Can the folks at TP-LInk check and fix this with a future firmware upgrade ? I do not expect the router to support both storage and modem function on the router, but can we do something to ensure that any data on the dual use modem is *not deleted ?

@APRC-P3-Tel

We would not be able to tell you on the US based community.  The TL-MR3420 is not sold in the US and we do not have support available for this product.  However you can post this question on our Global Community found here and they will be able to properly and accurately assist you.

Best Regards
