Archer A7 AC1750 wifi issues
I recently upgraded my spectrum internet speed to 400+mbps download and 20+mbps upload ...
I'm getting 450mbps thru the ether net cable which is from the router but I'm only getting 50 to 80mbps on 2.4g and 110mbps to 180mbps ( 220mbps only on my wife's note 9 ) thru wifi ... I'm getting a solid 20+mbps upload but bupkis on the download.
Ive used different channels and I even used the wifi analyzer app to see which channel has the least amount of interferrance.
Anyone help me out ????

For 2.4 GHz the maximum speed you will see is 100Mbps, 80 is about the average you will see on consistant basis. For 5GHz there are a few things you would want to check.
1. Are you up to date on the firmware?
2. Is there any network interference?
3. Is your modem a gateway or just a modem?
4. Have you attempted to reset and reconfigure the router?

Go to Advanced - System Parameters. Then look at NAT and disable NAT Boost. Power cycle the router and then retest the 5GHz speeds and let us know the results

Sorry for the delay if we are not tagged we don't get notified of a response and it may take a short time for us to review overall replies. We will need a few test preformed
1, Test the speed and record the link rate at 5 feet from router
2. Repeat at 10 Feet from router
3. Repeat at 20 Feet from router
4. Repeat at 40 Feet from the router
Please run the test 3 times at each increment and use the same test server and test program. Make sure to provide the link rate at each disatance and the upload and download at each increment.
We also need to know:
The Make and Model of the computer and the OS version
what test program you used and which server.
Best Regards.
