Ax1500 one mesh
Are there any plans to add one mesh to the AX1500 or AX10? Why would this not be supported in these latest routers?!?

That is acutally news to me too. The answer I just go from the software team is that it has plans to launch this month after testing is completed. Also if it is in the newest firmware it was not mentioned in the release notes. I will follow up with them and see why the descrepancy.

@Carl yep, I can confirm that on my AX1500 V1 I manually installed the new firmware today and have OneMesh set up and working.
Thanks for responding to all of us frustrated consumers!

Thank you confriming. I wish the answer had actually came from me but I just didn't have the correct infromation provided to me. I will make sure the release notes are updated properly as soon as the software team responds to me. If you have any issues with OneMesh please let me know.

What appears to have happened is that the fix for a recent industry bug was added to the "unreleased" firmware that was being tested for deployment this month. When they pushed the frimware out the release notes were not completed. Here is a full list of the release notes and what has been addressed in this firmware.
New Features/Enhancement: 1. Added OneMesh feature; 2. Added QoS Schedule feature; 3. Added a prompt when the negotiation rate of the WAN port is 100Mbps; 4. Added configuration items and display items on Tether APP; 5. Optimized the Parental Control feature; 6. Optimized the Client List; 7. Maximum number of clients on the single-band network increased to 128; 8. The wireless default encryption method is modified to WPA2+AES.
Bug Fixed: 1. Fixed the FragAttacks vulnerabilities; 2. Fixed some bugs that could cause the router to reboot; 3. Fixed the bug that the router incorrectly blocked Internet requests; 4. Fixed the bug of failed to save system log in AP mode; 5. Fixed the bug that TKIP encryption was not supported in 11ax only mode; 6. Fixed the bug that Web UI cannot synchronize the operation of deleting UPNP entries; 7. Fixed the bug that the client type cannot be changed on the Tether App. |

Any update on this? I just bought the extender and now see this. I am not a fan of having those separate networks so I may have to return it for now. It causes issues with mobile devices. Did the update ever release?

@Guywithabeard I followed the instructions @Zemosupremo gave in post #31 of this thread
Connect laptop to router with ethernet cable.
Go here to download the firmware (check your router version on the sticker on the bottom to get the right one)
https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-ax1500/#Firmware
Once you've got that downloaded, unzip and run.
You'll lose we connection for a while during the update but it only took a couple of minutes on mine then I used the Tether app to switch on OneMesh.
