I can't get my port forwarded, need help on that!
. Hi!
i am trying to forward my port to internet. My IP address is set to static, confirmed it according to PF Network Utilities.
The port I'm trying to forward is "25565". I have set everything accordingly on the Virtual Server page of my router, see here.
This is my ipconfig for Ethernet.
Yet when I check on https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ for my port, it says "Port 25565 is closed".
I have tried everything I could've think of and I can't get the wesbite to show my port as opened.
Please help me out on this problem!

The rule looks correct.
What you can try to do is what ever service you are trying to forward or what ever port is uses. Say for example its a web server on the computer, on that service, change the port is uses to something else say 40000. Now go back into the port forwarding rules, and modify to reflect that new number. Keep trying others to see if any would work.
Another test would be to set the computer as a DMZ, then check the port is opened. Disable the DMZ when you finish that test.

Hello!
I tried several other ports but regardless it came out as closed.
Also tried DMZ thing, but unfortunately it didn't helped.

Yeah, reboot directly from the router setup page. Didn't removed it from the power brick.

Verify if the port is closed by using a device. I've had it happen to me where a website claims the port is closed, but it actually is not.
The DMZ is supposed to not block any traffic to the IP so if that does not even work I would reach out to our support at that point.

Hmm.. my main purpose is hosting a Minecraft server from my PC. I have setup the whole setup for the server, but it won't work, which I am completly sure because of not proper port forwarding.
Here's all my setup screenshots on my router, if it gives any hints.

Given the computer is a windows computer is the firewall disabled on it or any local security software that can filter ports?
There are search results to check or verify if a port is blocked on a Windows machine. I would probably look into that.

Hello, I can assure you that it is not blocked by firewall. It asked me for permission when I was setting up my server and I applied both private and public network for it.

Hello @tasnim_tamim! were you able to solve this? I am having the same issue... I saw other threads on this forum relating to the same behaviour... I am hoping for a simple solution or firmware update (and confirmation of an issue). Already tried many things...
