I have an archer a7 with a usb drive to share pictures and such. I'm able to access the usb from my laptop but is it possible to access this drive from a phone? samsung or iphone?

I can get to my USB drive from my iPad with the FE File Explorer App so it is possible. Do not recall what all I did to set it up but it is SMP and I use the router IP address 192.168.0.1

The router shares the files from the USB drive via samba or FTP. You should be abld to find guides that show how to access either using which ever device you have.
