Ok, as suggesteed I have successfully turned my virgin hub3 box to modem Mode as I kept getting Resolving Host whenever I tried accessing a web site. It would seem to take forever for page to load that I ended up restarting my PC and suddenly no more resolving host msgs. But having to do a restart each time to sort it is a pain and very annoying. I thought Modem Mode would sort this, but it appears not. My virgin hub3 is attached to the much better AX6000 Router and it's only since attaching the AX6000 that I keep getting the resolving host issue. Is there something else I can do please

@Tonybell

Try changing the WAN DNS address to Google's public 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 or ones that are available in the UK, not sure if the google ones will work there.  Also if that does not work let us know and we will transfer your thread to the community that actually handles your region.  community.tp-link.com/en, this particular community is mainly for US customers.

The PC isn't set with static DNS servers is it?

Think I finely cracked it. Had trouble setting to modem mode but it's now done. it never resolved it at first but, seems to have done so now. many thanks for your input.
