Model: TL-WDR4300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.14.3 Build 151104 Rel.45874n

I have setup my TL-WDR4300 as a file server with 2 drives.  They work great from Windows 10 machine and my Androd phone, but my new Chromebook does not connect.  The Chromebook error says to check if the server is using SMB 2.0 or later.  What SMB version is used on my TL-WDR4300?

@DavidL

Hi David,  The TL-WDR4300 uses SMB v1.  Its production ended before SMB v2 became a standard and in some OS a requirement.

@Carl  Thank you.  That explains it,  I did find another app for Chomrebook that worked, so it must support v1!
