AX50(US) can't stay on the manually assigned channel
My neighbourhood has very congestion 5G channels. Have to manually assign a channel at the router setting. However it always jumps back to channel 149 after a while no matter whatever channel I set. Could you please help me to report to the engineers and get a fixed beta firmware?
My router version is:
Model: Archer AX50(US) Ver:1.0

As for the response from our Engineering team we were given a Beta firmware to try
Let us know if this resolves the issues and or what you experiance with it. We will re-engage with the team at that time to provide updates.

@RyanChen try to downgrade the firmware to 1.0.6. you can find many people with problems running the latest 1.0.8.

I am from EU region and I have the same issue with the ax50 model.
I've tried to set it manually on free dfs channels but it bounce back to a non dfs channels. I tested it with all the available firmwares but no use, it's like having an AC router not an AX one. I think the problem is with the firmware.
Please TP-LINK guys make a proper firmware so that we can enjoy the wifi 6 experience.

I believe the Beta firmware i posted above will work for the EU as well. Were you able to try this? DFS Channels are new and something that was not available in previous routers. I do applogize for how buggy it has been. We are sending all of this feedback to our Engineering Team.

I was able to try it, unfortunately after 15 min it bounce right back to a non dfs channel.
Everything else is running smoothly nothing to object but for the dfs channels bounce.
Thanks

I have the exact same issue. I changed the 5GHz to multiple channels but after a certain amount of time it always goes back to channel 149. I have saved and rebooted more than once but it never stays to the manual channel selected.
Login to tp-link router and from basic view you can see current channel it is using which is 149 but when you go to advanced and drill down to the channel settings it is still on the manual selected channel.

It happen to my Archer AX50 with a firmware 1.08
I'm having best speed on distance on channel 120 DFS... it probably last less than a day it will automatically revert to channel 149. I have to click reboot everytime in order to get back into channel 120 DFS. No new update firmware available to this date. TP-Link team kindly fix this boring issue.
