Archer C4000 Slow Download Speed on PC Only, with Both Wired and WiFi
I'm having a weird issue with my Archer C4000 and Windows 10 PC.
Here are my down/up speeds in mbps with certain setups:
Modem —> Ethernet —> PC : 1000/35
Modem —> Ethernet —> Router : 1000/35
Modem —> Ethernet —> Router —> Ethernet —> PC: 8/35
Modem —> Ethernet —> Router —> WiFi —> PC: 8/35
I have tried multiple Ethernet cables and no other devices has connection speed issues. Any idea why my PC would be slow only when connected to my router, with no difference between WiFi and Ethernet?

So turns out it’s a driver issue. I booted up in safe mode and my speeds are up to normal. Now just need to go through the super fun task of figuring out which one is the issue...
UPDATE: Not a driver issue. Turns out Dell likes to install a network prioritization tool called SmartByte. Uninstalled that and everything is good.

Look at the link speeds for both connections.
I would try setting DNS servers on the computer just to see if that changes anything.
